Armenian gang is led by Armen Kazarian, a kor, or “Godfather”, organized a nation wide operation that included identity theft, charge card fraud and ultimately Medicare fraud. The investigation started once the information of almost 3,000 Medicare patients from upstate new york was stolen. The gang stole the names of doctors, set up 118 clinics across the country and started submitting phony claims utilizing stolen affected individual information.
